The number of applications for the seat vacated by Kol Medina is now two. During a daily check of the City of Bainbridge Island's City Council page, we discovered that long time Islander Jane Lindley has submitted her application for the open seat. Up until today, the lone applicant for the seat had been Race Equity Task Force Co-Chair Brenda Fantroy-Johnson.
Brenda has been a guest on the show and you can see her interview here: https://fb.watch/1Snp4JPswT/
We we surely have lots of questions for Jane Lindley but unfortunately we were unable to retrieve her application from the City's website due to a technical error. We did report that to the City Clerk via email this morning and will post and update to this article when we application is made available.
Now that we have two applicants for the open North Ward position that will run through 2021, we will see more?
